Shaikh Abdul Qadir Jeelani (R.A) states, "If I were given treasures of the whole world, I would spend it all on feeding the poor."
Inspired and deeply touched by the life and teachings of the great Shaikh, Meraj has always been devoted to every aspect of his work and contributions towards the Sufi Nizami Trust madrasa and langar services. He has always been involved in community services and social activities revolving around benefits to the poor and needy.
He is strongly touched by the concept of langars (community meals) and considers it as a core element in the development of people from conditions and lifestyles that don't even forgive them a proper meal.
While many people choose to motivate others through their words, Meraj prefers to choose silence over speech and actions over words. He is extremely commiserative and holds the opinion that despite the ups and downs of life, a person must stay rooted to his ground.
Being a responsible and sincere member of the trust, he believes that one who can sleep peacefully ignoring the sufferings of others is truly worthy of shame. Being there since the beginning and there till the end, he chooses to bloom with the trust, all the way.
"Langar ke zariye bhuko ko khana khilana rabb ki ain qidmat hai" - az qual-e-Syedna Abdul Qadar Jilani r.a.
